Peak inductor current of LTM8063 Buck converter

Please advise what is the peak inductor current limit of the LTM8063 Buck converter chip?
If I want a 12Vin, 5Vout, 10W Buck, at Fsw=500kHz, then I need a peak inductor current of 3.94A.
Do you know if the LTM8063 limits below this or not?

Why do you need to know the inductor current? It is inside the IC.

If you use the external components recommended for that frequency operation and 2A maximum continuous output, then the internal inductor current should be within its design operating parameters,
Why do you think it wouldn't be?
