Hi! How can I make the components in the PCB easy to change, that is, when one isn't anymore working, may it be a resistor, you can remove it without desoldering and replace it without resoldering. This is just like placing an IC socket, but I want to do it not just with ICs but with all the components.
*I use a knife to seperate, lay the sockets on their side, find the appropriete indent between pins, rock the blade gently back and forth, minimal pressure. Be careful, they sometimes fly...
Some IC sockets can take regular leads, but mostly mine only take flat leads. Look for 'machined-pin', usually round like the above header sockets.
There are sockets for transistors...
Best to get your circuit working on a breadboard, where swapping parts is easy, then make your board.
