Hi
I have here a 3D doodle pen that uses PLA fed trough a motor where the controller blew up.
Unit gets its power from USB.
Looking for an alternative controller that can handle more ampere.

Single motor controller
Iout 1.5A
VCC 2.2-7.6V

SOP-8 Pinout:
1: NC
2: INA
3: INB
4: VDD
5: OUTB
6: AGND
7: PGND
8: OUTA

Thanks Helge

You could try a DRV8833 with both sections connected in parallel?

You can get small PCBs with them very cheaply on ebay, amazon etc.
