Panasonic digital radio faulty A(2sa)2057

just looks like it is part of the power supply- looks like it is linear, couple of smt transistors capacitors and diodes etc... nothing fancy in the way of switched mode etc. Possibly used to produce a 5V supply?
The radio itself gives an error F76 Pdet on adaptor input and low battery with voltage applied to battery terminals - the original power supply is also goosed, Oh and the board has darkened round this transistor, which is giving meaningless readings on my meter and unrecognized on my peak tester :)
