Open source database?

I was wondering if the moderators/members would be open to having an open source code database started here? I would think it could be as simple as a new forum section for different languages. IE: Basic, C, assembly, etc. Then the author could just go to that section and post his code with a descriptive title such as "PIC16F818, RF12B RF Transciever, HD44780 LCD, LM35 Temperature Sensor." From there he could explain some nuances of the code and what not. I think it would be great to have a database built up here, and could possibly help bring traffic.

Anyone else like the idea?

Oops! I found it. Never noticed it before. It's immediately below an Ad image and looks as though it's part of the Ad...
