Have a travel trailer with a mounted stereo unit (Linear LS4000B by Magnadyne Corp.). Would like to connect the audio out of a TV to the Stereo Speakers. Speakers are hardwired - no RCA or any other inputs to the Stereo, would have to tap the speaker lines. Thought about a simple mixer circuit using resistors to make the connection - Other ideas or "prebuilt" items that I could use?
TIA

The stereo has to have an input, else how do you use it? I would modify the input to accept the TV signal in addition to the normal signal. It is not likley that the TV could drive the stereo's speakers.

If your TV doesn't have line-level outputs to connect to a stereo system, don't touch its built-in speaker wires. One of them could be connected to the AC power line. Get a TV with audio putputs and connect them to the aux input of your stereo system.
