Looking for what seems to be an obsolete ... at least hard-to-find ... transformer from an old automotive tester:

778-128
682-935

or

778-128
HT5-7615

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Should be no problem finding a close enough replacement if you know the output voltage(s) and size (including mounting dimensions).

The complete model number (and manufacturer name) of the equipment is essential, and a photo is most helpful.

It depends on whether it's a mains transformer or something more specialist such as an SMPS transformer.

Sorry but posting the part numbers doesn't really help us to help you because they're pretty meaningless.

Who's manufacturer?

As above, what are the primary and secondary voltages and current/power ratings?

If you don't know the power rating then weigh it which can give us some idea.

What are the dimensions?

What shape is it? Toriodal or rectangular?
