O-scope for cars

Somebody gave me an oscillosscope that is made for cars. It uses inductive coupling i guess to measure whatever it is that it measures in cars. I was wondering if i can use it as a regular oscilloscope??

It would probably have a very low bandwidth but is perfect for tweaking to become a very good 'scope. I tweaked my cheap kit 'scope and now it performs very well.

Yea, im sure the bandwidth would be crap. I think ill just buy one with a better bandwidth.
