Has Anyone used these to get two Micro's (other than Arduino) to "talk" to each other? They are pretty cheap ($5 for a pair) and relatively low power, as I only need to transmit a few bytes of data. It seems simple after reading this document, but I was wondering if anyone had experience with them. Ive recently just found out how easy it is to get SPI up and running, so hopefully these wont be too hard.

hi
I think that the data transmission between the chips is easy to achieve, what important is the reliability and speed of transmission.Whether it is uart, iic, spi or other, there will be some drawbacks.
You according to your actual situation to choose the way you need to communicate. Each time you send a byte packet,Check bytes contained in the packet.
Thanks
