I have made my first Eagle layout and am planning my first-ever PCB. Yeah!!

Brief background.... my circuit is mostly low-current. However, there is one output path that will carry about 1 amp, though not continuously. The 1-amp signal only occurs every 1 minute or so, and it consists of a pulse that is only 10msec to 500msec in duration.

Okay, here's the question... how do I size the copper tracings on my PCB to handle this?

Thank you.
Eric
