Hi,

I got a BeagleBone Black with embedded Linux on it, and I'd like to use it for learning Embedded Linux Operating System.

Could you please suggest a project which does not involve complicated Hardware, in order to understand how Embedded Linux Operating System works?

Thank you.

As it has HDMI out then do something graphical. Something like on screen fireworks could be a challenge.

Edit, I did the same thing a while ago, check out this thread.

Hi Mike,
Thank you.

I actually tried running your fireworks CPP program, but it shouted I got a missing sdl.dll.
When I downloaded it, it complained it is missing some library.

I don't have an LCD to connect the HDMI to.
You have additional idea?

There's a adapter vga to hdmi its cheap and works with old monitor
