Noise Vusb pic18f4550

hi all ,
m designing an application using pic18f4550 . m making usb interface. M unable to connect the link between the controller and usb .i tried putting 220nF to 470nF capacitors on the Vusb pin .the problem is that when i touch the Vusb pin of the controller with my finger the communication starts otherwise there is no communiaction byitself. i tried all possible solution but unable to take out the noise..please help........

What is that "m" or "M"? Is my PC unable to translate some strange character?

Is the connector's metalic case grounded?

one solution to reject noise is to connece a 10k ohm resistor to the terminal that you must touvh by hand and connect the other terminal of the resistor by the ground
