I have a 60w tube heater and a voltage free room thermostat, i want to connect the heater supply to the thermostat via a switch to stop the stop start the supply depending on teh switch, i think i need a volatge free SPDT can anyone point me in the right direction or where to buy something that will do teh job.

Mant thanks and sorry for being so clueless.

You need to know what power rating your temperature switch is made for.

60W doesn't sound much, but to make it safe check out the switch. Then connect it between supply voltage and heater (series connection).
