newbie - question..

Hi

I am going to try and attemp to create a talking book basicly will have movable eyes and mouth.

I would use servo's to control the movement etc

But thinking of using a standad remote control controller and connecting to the "robot" with a seriel cable..

So as anone got any info on doing this kind of project mainly the connecting of seriel cable to remote control unit and how you would connect it into the servo's.

If you want to use servo's, I'd recomend that you use a microcontroller and a PWM
controller .. You can find many cheap one's on the internet.

Personally I recomend Motorola or PIC micro's..
