newbie needing help!!!

first of i would like to apologize for my bad grammar and spelling

i am a 18 year old college student in the U.K. who needs some help
basically my friend got me into model rockets and he uses a wired launch system now i already play air-soft and paintball a bit and was wondering is any one could give me pointers on a type of wired or wireless (preferred wireless) detonator for smoke bombs and paint grenades for a nice touch to my mil-sim games.

Here in the US you can get some good deals from eBay on transmitters and receivers like what are used for garage doors.
