Hi, I came across this website while searching for some information how to change a frequency to a voltage. I have a 89 camaro with a t56 transmission. This transmission has a 40 pulse per driveshaft vss signal generator in the tailshaft. I have a datalogger that will log up to 5 volts. I would like to build a circuit that would convert the signal to a voltage. It needs to be between 0 and 5 volts, any more than 5 volts will burn up the datalogger. Also it needs to be linear with the speed of the car. With the datalogging program I can assign 0 volts to be 0mph, 5 volts to be 150 mph, or whatever mph I want it to be.

Any Info how to build the circuit would be great
Thanks
Daniel
