need some help about Optical electronics

Hi every one

I have a home work about Optic components and I have to write a report about one component I chose in addition to a small project using this optic component
I searched the net and I only found commercial websites.

Any one have a resources about such components like LDR , photo transistor ,opt coupler, IR LEDs...
