Need help with Science fair battery mechanics

How can i make a 9v battery, or any other aa aaa, make a wire sustain a heat of over 500' F. Please give specifics. need to know the type of wire. copper, aluminum. need to know any resisters, or special connectors... i have no idea where to start. please help
