I need help with MCP1640T-I/ML PCB routing.
I have board that uses SOT23-6 package, but we can't find it anymore.
I was able to get parts in ML package and trying to redo the board.
Vin is 2.1-3.2V from the 2xAA batteries,
Vout is 3.4V at 150mA max, 80mA typical.
The datasheet is calling for SW trace to be routed on the bottom plane.
So here is our routing:
However I think it may be possible to route output trace under the inductor.
See trace marked with an arrow.
Please comment on this, is it a good idea?
