Need Help with FET Datasheet!

Hi Everybody!!

Can anyone tell me where I can find a Motorola 2N3819 datasheet?

P.S. A pinout would be great too!

Google certainly does - enter "2n3819" and get 16,000 hits.

Don't sweat it if Motorola didn't make it - the specs and pinout won't change.

I wouldn't bet on the pinout not changing?, I've seen various different pinouts on them.

I agree with Nigel Goodwin. E.g. the fairchild and ON pinouts for the 2N3819 are different.

Many Jfets are symmetrical. Then the drain and source can be interchanged.

I don't know a thing about mosfets. Are their drain adn source interchangable?

2N3819 is not a mosfet. www.wikipedia.org has some helpful examples.

I"m not talking about the 2N3819, just about mosfets in general.
