need help with dc power supply

hi all
i need dc power supply output 12 vdc and 10 amp
i will use Transformer + Rectifier + Smoothing
now i will buy Transformer like this

but i dont know what the type of Bridge Rectifier is good(i dont know much about Electronics):confused:

Hi,

just use the kind of rectifier as shown in the picure. Select a rating of 40V/25A. For smoothing I recommend a total of approximately 15,000µF (3 X 4,700µF/25V parallel = 14,100µF) will do.

If the rectifier gets hot at max. current mount it on a heat sink.
