Hello,
I am having a bit of a problem with shipment of new AT90S2313s. They appear dead. With VCC and GND applied and XTAL at 8MHz I read nothing on PB and PD pins. Nothing - that is my logic probe does not indicate high nor low. Is my batch bad? Or say if the XTAL is not oscillating for some reason (say my crystal is bad) I should still be able to read the other pins low or high correct? I can not directly verify oscillating because I don't have freq counter nor scope at home.
Needless to mention, the AVR does not respond to programming...
