I need some help.
I'd like to have a motion activated DC motor that when activated turns one way for x number of seconds, pause for x number of seconds, then turns the reverse way the same number of seconds that it did the first time.
I also need to regulate how fast the motor turns.
I'm guessing the simplest way to do this is with a 555 timer. My problem is, I really have no idea how to put everything together and program it.
I'm a total novice and any kind help would be very appreciated. Thanks!
