I've got a program written for my Z80 microprocessor. I have assembled it and now have an "OBJ" file. I need to change it to a "HEX" file before I can download it to to my RAM. How do I make it into a "HEX" file? Is there a HEX compiler somewhere? thanks
Check the settings on your assembler, there may well be a setting to make it produce a HEX file, although it depends what the assembler is designed to be used for.
It's also possible that the OBJ is just the same, again it depends what kind of HEX file your programmer is expecting.
