Need advice about Audio Amp

Hi all,
Please i need a technical advice, i planing to buy from a freind of mine, one power amp, + pre-amp, my question that those item still in box brand new, but they are old from arround 89 in stock, i'm affried of that, does the capacitors will be still ok...
And is that possible to get a technical manual for those unit?

Shouldn't be a problem - just plug them in and see if they work!.

They are working i test them, but i was affraid about the capacitors in the power suply secion, and the amp...is there's any probleme for electrolytic capacitor to be in stock for a long time...
and what about electronics diagram?

I wouldn't worry about the age of them, they should be fine - as for a diagram, you could probably try contacting Pioneer in your country to see if they can help? - but you don't have your location filled in, so we don't know where you might be!.

Again Thanks Nigel for your fast reply, i'm living in Maroc, i have sent email to Pioneer, but no reply, i think they offer such things only to companies , and the dealer in Maroc they don't have it.
