Need a North American store-selling a thermometer with alarm

A friend who lives in Canada, needs an electronic thermometer with an alarm so she is alerted if the outside temperature falls below a preset level - so she can go out and protect her garden.

The Australian store Dick Smith sells exactly what she needs, see their web site www.dse.com.au and search for catalogue number Y5011. It is called a "Dual Temperature Alert Thermometer".

It displays both the inside and outside temperatures and has an alarm if the temp becomes too high or too low.

JayCar also sell a "Thermometer Module with Alarm", see www.jaycar.com.au catalogue number XC-0224.

I looked at the US Radio Shack web site, and, although they have various types of thermometer, they don't have either of these or any others with an alarm.

Does anyone know of a store in North America that sells either of these products or a similar one?

Simply tell her to order it from Dick Smith, they happily (and speedily) send orders all round the world (I've used them in the UK) - and the price of the Aus$ makes it very cheap 8)
