Mystery Automobile: Do You Recognise Make and Model?

Does anyone recognise the make/model of this American car? I think it would make a really nice lead sled....no chopping required, and the lines are superb.

This photo from a 1949 magazine (although the car is probably older):

Looks like '49 Chevrolet.

Thanks Modemhead for the exact match. The fender lines and chrome bits are identical to the '47 Buick Roadmaster. The only difference is that the vehicle in my photo has a rear license plate.

With the Hudson and Chevrolet, the fender lines don't all match both front and rear. Especially the Hudson. It has no fender lines. They have been absorbed into the body, styling ahead of its time.

The '46 Packard isn't the same, but awesome in it's own sub-style:
