My Sony home theatre having PSU trouble Power Supply model: 09DAV-POWER-MR-MP-12 When switched on for very short time remainig on and switches off;

Sony Home theatre system, Power Supply model: 09DAV-POWER-MR-MP-12; for very short period remains on; on checking 32v bus after rectifier is ok but not at the required terminal point; I noticed similar thread on this forum, who possibly could guide me how to solve;

As you don't give the model of the unit, we can't even look up the circuit - but presumably it's not switching ON, possibly due to the protection circuits. Common causes n random Sony models were dry joints in the output stages, or failure of the output chips.

You need to download the schematic, and check the status of the protection circuits.
