can i do that?
i have many external circuits, i cannot afford to buy an oscillator, can i use my PC to be an oscillator?
if yes, what is the software needed?
what r the connections i need?

why expencive signal generator?
what kind of signal do you need?
what frequency and signal shape?
you can use simply try to use sound
card as signal generator but this will be limited to audio range.
if you need clock signal, did you consider RC, LC or crystal oscillators?
they all cost dollar or two...
