If you want to learn to use a Mcu be it pic stamp avr you name it.
Read about it first and read a lot. Then read the datasheet Then pick your languish You like to use and stay with it. Till you know it by heart. You will then be ready for your final year project. And most of all don't ask for what you need to learn ask about what you don't no.
