Multiple transformers from one mains supply

Hi,

I have 2 transformers, both with 220-240V input but one with 18-0-18V 1.4A output and one with a 12-0-12V 250mA output. I want to run them both from the same mains supply, do I need to take any extra steps in connecting them or do they both connect to the live and neutral in parallel (or series maybe)?
