There will be a local start and stop pushbutton next to the pump, also near the pump there will be an emergency stop pushbutton. In the central control room there will be start and stop pushbuttons, but these may be clickable buttons on a computer screen. And finally the plant ESD system (Emergency Shut Down) will stop the pump. Now that I have done your homework for you, I think you owe me a bacon sandwich. JimB
