doe's anyone know if MPLAB will run on the new windows 8 os? I'm thinking of going with a new computer, and before I make my final decision, that will help deciding which one.
I installed the newest version of MPLab v. 8 on Windows 8 and haven't had a problem. Short answer to your question is yes, whether you choose MPLab 8 or X.
