Hi all new to the forum and have a little water heating project in mind I’m looking at a hot water circulating pump 12v BRUSHLESS I’ve done some research and understand that brushed/brushless motors require different speed controllers but the motor I have In mind is advertised as brushless but only has 2 connection wires is it possible to control the speed of the pump
Many thanks all

It seems like that will only run at the speed they set at the factory. Many computer fans are BLDC motors like that, with 2 wires and no speed control. All of the BLDC motor drive is on a chip inside the housing so that ony 2 wires are needed.

If the motor rpm is fixed by the internal controller, you could use a throttle on the outlet side of the pump.
Pump load current also drops.
Max.
