What would be a typocal L opf a DC motor? Iam using spice and have no idea what would be even close to a motor inductance. any help would wonderful. or how to find out would be better
Thanks Mike:confused:

It really REALLY depends on the motor (obviously a huge motor will have a huge inductance and a small one will probably have a small inductance and the type of motor also plays a roll). There's no "typical" value at all. It is also non constant, in that it will change depending on the motor's operating conditions...

For things like steppers and small DC motors a good generic value to use is 10 milihenries
