Motor Driver Selection

Hello everyone. I have purchased a geared DC motor around a year ago. The motor is rated at 12V and 11 amps. I was considering purchasing a suitable driver for this motor. The motor is from Bison Gear and Engineering Corp.

I was looking on their site for a compatible motor controller and they recommended this driver:

which looks good and all except that it doesn't allow for a control signal to reverse the direction of rotation of the motor. The datasheet of this controller states that the direction can be changed either manually (by reversing the motor leads' connections) or through electronic relays that I have to provide in order to reverse the voltage going to the motor terminals.

While I was searching, I found this other controller from an entirely different manufacturer:

The MD30 controller seems perfect. I can easily control the speed and direction of rotation of the motor through the provided control signals. And this driver is considerably cheaper than the one provided by the motor's manufacturer.

Should I go for the second one or should I stick with the one that was originaly built for the motor and then deploy a certain mechanism of relays to obtain direction control? The second driver, although cheaper and by another manufacturer, certainly seems easier and better for me since it can handle the motor's voltage and current and provides more means of control. Am I missing anything in my choosing process? Please advice me on what you think. Your help is much appreciated.

Hello again! I know I've already asked, but I would appreciate it if someone gave me some advice on how to choose as time is critical for me in this matter. Thanks again.

They both look pretty pricey but I'd go for the cheaper one that suits your needs.
