I have a project on designing a motor control circuit using H- Bridge. the switching devices employed can be mosfets, bJT, thyristor or IGBT. can nyone run me through which 2 possibilities are the best. the motor used is a 12v brushed motor with 6.6ohms resistance and 0.445mH inductance. the back emf is 8.6v.

How about a pic micro (16F88) generating a pwm signal, driving a H bridge, sample the back emf of the motor using one of the pic's adcs?...

H bridge comprises of two pairs of complementary mosfets in the usual configuration.
