I am wondering if there is any MOSFET better and more efficient and stronger than irfp260n which is what I plan to use in an inverter am building.am talking in terms of fast switching ,low conduction losses and all that kind of stuff.been searching but would like to get opinions.

200 volt Do you need 200 volts? What voltage are you switching?

There's no single best MOSFET in the world.

Bigger MOSFETs have lower conduction losses, but higher switching losses (better for slow switching apps). Smaller MOSFETs have smaller switching losses, but higher conduction losses (better for fast switching apps).
