Mobile Phone Displays

H, has anyone any experience in using old mobile phone displays with microcontrollers? I have seen some info on the web using nokia but nothing else. I have an old Trium 110 display with 8 contacts (EPSON P313045701) but can't find any info on it. It seems they use some sort of serial interface but I really don't know where to start, any ideas?
