is it possible to up the wattage of this amp? maybe by putting less resistance at output? because it is just too quiet for some small 4 ohm mp3 speakers. and is there a way to improve the bass? because with speakers it sounds awful. thanks very much

It's a headphione amplifer, NOT to drive speakers. It's only suitable for high impedance headphones.

To increase the power you would need to change the amp to one designed to drive speakers.
