mini motors

hi, i am fitting a mini-motor to my static model of a Huey helicopter,the size of motor is 10mm x 8mm x 6mm, so my question is -how to extend the lenght of the shaft ? - as you can appreciate the shaft SO tiny !, super glue or similar seems out of the question , not a electro question i know ---but any ideas folks ?

Strip some of the PVC from some cable and push fit that over the shaft with some superglue or similar.
