hello sir,

I am doing project in microcontroller.

Theme:
To check the quality of sound from the speaker(inbuilt into a LCD panel monitor).

Doubt:

Is it possible to store a sound file(atleast a beep sound) into microcontroller chip?

please give some idea on this.

Thank you,

Regards,
Jamuna

Yes, but the bit fidelty is going to be pretty horrible, nothing you can use to check the quality of sound from a speaker.

create it... it is simple

If you only want a beep sound you can create it. It is so simple.

a simple on and off of a port pin at regular intervals

Nandhu

Why you you want to use a microcontroller?

Surely an astable 555 is also you need, especially if you want some power (altough you won't get much).

You shouldn't double post. Post followup questions in the original thread if you didn't get the answers you were looking for.

You could also use a flash or smart card reader like those in cameras or MP3 players.
