I have a digital clock, which is powered by 1 AA battery.

It has a LCD display. We can set time, set alarm with it.
I guess, it has a microcontroller with it.

I wonder, is there any microcontroller that can be powered by 1.5V battery?

Thank you

It's probably just a clock chip.

Presumably there are low voltage microcontrollers, some of the PIC ones (LF series) work on fairly low voltages, I often use them on 3V (two AA's).
