Menu under handle doesn't always dismiss

and there isn't a close box.

I can be composing a message and it's still there. I have to select something and then do a browser back to close it.

I can't make it happen on the fly yet. I just hover over the user name and the block stays up. Normally, you hover, and you click outside the box and it dismisses. In some cases, this does not happen.

I can continue replying to a message and the box is still there.

I can dismiss it by "click personal details" and Browser back or any other function inside the box.
