A DRAM chip uses two-dimensional address multiplexing. II has 13common addresspins, with the row address having one bit more than the column address. What is the capacity of the memory?
.
ans=13+12=25.so 2^25words
my approach is 13+14=27.so 2^27 words.

what i am misunderstanding help me please.

There are only 13 total common address pins. In your approach you cannot use 14 because there are only 13 pins.
