How do i measure Pulse width Modulation (PWM) ?
with a oscilloscope?

How do i measure the Duty Cycle of the PWM?
with a oscilloscope?

How do i measure the Pulse width?
with a oscilloscope?

How do i measure the Time constant?
with a oscilloscope?

How do i measure the rise time and fall time?
with a oscilloscope?

how to Measure the Period and frequency of the PWM?
with a oscilloscope?

No i mean how do i do it step by step i don't know what to look for
and how to do it

I know i need to use the oscilloscope but i don't know how to measure
this stuff step by step process can your please help me out?

The oscilloscope has two connections: the ground clip and the probe. connect the clip to ground and the probe to the circuit. There is a verticle position control, set it so the wave form is visible. There is also a horizontal position control, set it so the waveform starts at the left. Set the sweep control to expand the waveform so it suits you. There is also some trigger controls. Set it on auto to begin with. Later, you can try other settings and twiddle with the sync or level control. Has this helped?

Thanks yes

but im talking more about how to Count the gradules and do formulas
to get the rise time, pulse width, how to actually measure this stuff
that i listed. Have to look at the PWM waveform on the oscilloscope
and count the gradules and look at the time settings and do some
formulas and stuff i don't know how to do this stuff please help me ?

HEY walters
Whats with being RUDE!!!!11111one!!!!!

repeating the same question twice and equally within the question repeating multiple time what you want!

It sounds like the real problem is how to use a scope since calculation of duty cycle is just

Ton/Tperiod * 100

Thus if you can get the squarewave on the scope you can then measure the period and also hte time that is is HIGH (or LOW dependant on what you want)

--EDIT--

looking over your question's again it is looking more and more like "how to use a scope". It would really help if you ask the right question

Take the "how do I measure rise and fall time". All that is is changing the timebase of the scope so you can see the slew rate of the signal and measure the time for it to go from 10% of the level to 90% of the level

best bet is to save the page as a HTML file, this will d/l all the piccies to encapsolate the webpage.

The open in yr favoirte image editor (I would recomend GIMP) and do what you think best to improve the situation

I would recommend remving the GRAY background and changing YELLOW for a darker colour

give me 5min

here you go

failing that

**broken link removed**

np, as I said it was only a 5min tast so not to bad, a bit of gimping to correct the colours and increase the definition
