Hey guys,
I've done a fair amount of reading on engine RPM sensing through hall effect sensors and inductive sensors, but am struggling to find low cost applications.
All i am trying to do is read the RPM of a small 1 cylinder engine, function through a PLC (which has all the neccasary onboard counters etc.) and then adjust motor speed accordingly. Most solutions i find are high cost performance car based applications.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of a good, cheap, simple way to read engine RPM.
Gints
