Looking for a little confirmation so I don't screw things up. I want to use the MCLR as a reset from sleep on a 16f628A pic. Are these steps correct?

1. In configuration settings set MCLR enabled.

2. Use a 4.7k to 10k pull up resistor to VDD.

3. Place momentary switch through a 50 to100 ohm resistor to VSS.

Thanks in advance for any info I may receive.

The 50-100 ohm resistor is used only if you have a programmer attached. It would keep the VPP driver from seeing a dead short if the button was pressed while programming.
