i am going to commence studying physics of semiconductor,before i start i would like to know that i want to be strong in maths(like calculus ,numerical methods)?

It will be much easier to learn if you are strong in math. It also depends on level of the course you are taking. What are the prequisites of the course?

Can you provide any information about the level of the course. University level? First year? Second year ? Etc
