Hi

I saw this picture where some form of clay or plasticine is used to hold electronic components whilst working with them, does anyone know what this material is?

They used a blutack covered block of wood in the assembly section of where I used to work for soldering & assembly. You can remove the stray blutack with more blutack. I do remember it being a problem if people used it when soldering the miniature connectors as it got stuck in them.

I think you'll find plasticine and clay will be worse. Can't think of anything else atm.
